Wanna discuss photography over Cha & Biscoot?
Join us in this fun filled ADDA session, where you can exchange your views with our honored guest Ripan Biswas and get inspired by his wisdom.
Being Born and brought up in Coochbehar, a heaven in earth, he has enough reasons to enrich his vision from the very beginning. A teacher by profession and a photographer by passion, he always want to see Mother Nature with all its aspects and feel her from the core of his heart as a source of inspiration. He started photography in the year 2008. He loves to shoot nature, wildlife and specially macro shots and wants to reveal the tiny world around us that we normally overlook.
The award of YouPic Photo Awards 2012 was a turning point in his photographic career. It was an international competition worth 1000 USD. Then in the year 2013 he got 2nd position in prestigious " Raju Harkare Memorial Wildlife Photography Competition" for the same picture which gave him 2nd position in CAMARENA Academy Photography Award in 2015 ( wildlife category). Won photographer of the year by DCP expedition in 2015 (best of the team- category) and wildlife photography competition (in birds category) organized by Facebook group Claw in 2015. He was also awarded in national and international saloons.
His photographs were featured in prestigious magazines like, "Sanctuary Asia" and "wild sojourns" several times.
This event offers a kaleidoscopic view of his work and an opportunity for us to see the world through his view finder.
