Ashoke Kumar Ghosh loves photography from his childhood when he started photography with a click iii camaera. As his passion about photography developed gradually he took his hobby seriously and sincerely since 1990 after completing his Diploma in Photography where he stood second.
Living in India means there are always new locations to photograph, new events and the ever-changing and fast paced situation make India a great place for the aspiring photographer. This is why his main focus is on human interest photography.
As a hobbyist photographer he has won so many National and International photographic awards. In National level he has been awarded 2nd in All India fine arts and craft society, 2nd in National Photo awards organized by photo divisionGovt. of India. He has won so many International photography award which include awards from Big Print Capture Your World Photo Contest-organized by Ritz Camera, USA, World Photography Gala Awards Annual Contest, Excellence award at Epoch Times International Photo contest to name some.
He has participated in so many Salons internationally and got numerous medals including Gold medals from several countries. As he started as a film shooter in his early days, especially in B&W, all were developed in his wet darkroom in those days. From that very days his love in Black and White gradually developed in his work of presentation.
This event offers a kaleidoscopic view of his work and an opportunity for us to see the world through his view finder.
